Georgina Scarborough graduated from Ballarat Tafe with a diploma in ceramics. A ten year member of the Geelong Potters, she regularly attends ceramics workshops, exhibitions and other potter activities to keep up with new skills and to assist in the development of her personal artistic creations.
Georgina will be offering a series of four, three-hour classes on Monday evenings from 5-8 pm beginning 24th of March. A total of 12 hours of instruction time, spread out over 4, three-hour classes provides ample time to explore each new technique with out feeling rushed. Small class size ensures that you will get plenty of individual attention. The classes cover foundational pottery skills and will take you from little or no experience to glazed and completed works you will feel great about.
As an added bonus, you will be invited to work on your own during Open Studio hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-4pm for a discounted rate of only $20 per day.
The all inclusive price for 12 hours of instruction, 10kg of clay and firing of your three favorite pieces is only $380. Additional clay and firing is available at regular studio rates.
